Welcome to the website of the Valborg Choir. The Valborg Choir is a mixed choir. Since our foundation in 1992 the choir is directed by our conductor Árpád Schermann.
Our extensive repertoire consists of a wide variety of styles ranging from the Requiem of Mozart to vocal music of Arvo Pärt. The way of singing of the Valborg Choir is based on the vision of the Swedish soprano Valborg Werbeck-Svärdström. This approach contains a conscious search for the spiritual origin of singing. The result will provide the attentive listener with a unique listening experience. The Valborg Choir is a part of the Valborg Choir International. This choir consists of singers from several European countries. All the participants sing with the same vision. Numerous concerts have been performed throughout Europe.
